INGREDIENTS:
 
2/3 Cups   Margarine
2 1/4 Cups or 1 Package   Light Brown Sugar
3   Eggs
2 2/3 Cups   Flour
2 1/2 tsp.   Baking Powder
1/2 tsp.   Salt
    Chocolate Bits and Nuts
   
In a large saucepan (2 qt. size), melt margarine, mix in brown sugar. Cool and add eggs (one at a time) beating well after each one. Sift into mixture the flour, baking powder and salt, mixing as it is being added. Beat well. Add nuts and chocolate bits (or just one or the other) as desired. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes in greased pan. Cut into squares.
PREP TIME: 15 Minutes
COOK: 25-30 Minutes
