Announcing the winners of our 2009 Hannaford Reusable Bag Design Contest!

We're amazed with the creativity of all the kids who entered. This year’s contest theme was “Close to Home” or agriculture in your state. Thank you to all the students that submitted a drawing. We are proud to announce this year's winner —Sarah Socia of Vermont. Sarah's drawing will appear on one side our bag.

We also chose one winning design from each of the four remaining states we serve. These designs will share the opposite side of the bag.

The reusable bag featuring the winning designs will be sold in all Hannaford stores in 2010.

Winners received a $100 Hannaford gift card and a gift basket filled with locally grown and locally made products from Hannaford.
