The Teacher of the Year program recognizes excellent teachers of today, encourages aspiring teachers of tomorrow, and promotes higher education.

As a sponsor of these programs, Hannaford helps pay for teacher travel and award presentations, as well as special education grants.

Carolyn Kelley, a biotechnology teacher at the Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter.

Kathleen Sullivan, a third and fourth grade teacher at Warren Elementary School in Warren.
