Ingredients

Hannaford's Chunky Chip Trail Mix Cookies
1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Sugar
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 each Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 cup Old fashioned oats
12 oz Semi sweet chocolate baking chips/morsels
1 cup Coarsely chopped walnuts
1 cup Flaked coconut, sweetened
1 cup Dried cherries

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375*
2. In large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until blended. Increase speed to medium-high and beat mixture until light and creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well combined.
3. In large bowl sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder. Add oats and stir to combine.
4. Gradually add to creamed mixture , mixing on low speed until blended. Fold in chocolate morsels, flaked coconut, chopped walnuts and dried cherries.
5. Drop dough in heaping tablespoons 1-inch apart on baking sheets.
6. Bake 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
Suggestions: Use Hannaford brand sugar, dark brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powser, semi-sweet chocolate morsels, walnut halves and pieces, and sweetened flake coconut. Cranberries can be substituted for cherries.
