Sangria Blanca
1 1/8 cup Dry white wine
4 teaspoon orange liqueur
4 teaspoon Sugar
1/4 each Oranges, washed, halved and thinly sliced
1/4 each Lemon, thinly sliced
1/4 each Red apple, halved and cored, then thinly sliced
1/3 cup Fresh strawberries, halves
10 each thompson seedless grape
2/3 cup Apple cider, chilled


1. In a large pitcher, mix wine, liqueur, and sugar until sugar dissolves. Add orange, lemon, apple and strawberries. With a wooden spoon, press fruit against sides and bottom of pitcher slightly. Chill, covered , for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. If using grapes, place them on a tray to freeze.
2. Just before serving stir in chilled sparkling apple cider. Serve in wine glasses or goblets with some of the fruit, adding ice or optional frozen grapes.
