Best Beef Stroganoff
1 slice bacon, raw
1 lb Hannaford Inspirations Sirloin
1/2 each Fresh medium onion
1 cup Fresh mushroom pieces/slices
1 each Fresh garlic cloves, peeled
91/2 tablespoon Hannaford brand tomato soup
11/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
11/2 teaspoon Sauce, horseradish
1/4 cup sherry, dry
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Sour Cream, light
2 tablespoon Fresh chives

directions:

1. Cook bacon in large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat until crisp. With slotted spoon remove bacon to paper towel to drain. Reserve for another use. Increase heat to medium-high and brown beef in batches in bacon fat.
2. Return all beef to Dutch oven. Add onion, mushrooms and garlic and cook, stirring 4 to 5 minutes until onions are tender and garlic is fragrant. Add tomato soup, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish sauce, sherry and salt. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to simmer, 2 hours.
3. Just before serving. stir in sour cream and chives. Do not boil once sour cream has been added. Serve with warm Hannaford Inspirations Country White Bread. (Note: Hannaford Inspirations Country White Bread is not included in the nutritional analysis.)
