Strawberry Pomegranate Cheesecake Brownies

Strawberry Pomegranate Cheesecake Brownies
1/2 cup Unsalted butter
2 oz Unsweetened baking chocolate squares, coarsely grated
11/4 cup Sugar, divided
2 each Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2/3 cup All purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/3 cup Hannaford Inspirations Strawberry Fruit Syrup
4 oz Cream cheese
1 each Egg Yolks

directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400F. Spraya 9-inch square baking pan withvegetable cooking spray.
2. In a medium bowl, microwavebutter and chocolate onhigh for 1 minute. Stir, andmicrowave for 30 seconds more,or until just melted. Stir untilsmooth, then pour into a largebowl and add 1 cup of the sugar,eggs, vanilla, flour, and salt.Using an electric mixer on mediumspeed, beat mixture untilsmooth, about 1 minute. Spreadin prepared pan.
3. Heat strawberry pomegranatespread in small pan overmedium-low heat, stirring occasionally,until melted, 3 to 4 minutes.Set aside.
4. Rinse out the mixing bowl and beaters,dry, then add cream cheese, remaining1.4 cup sugar, and egg yolk. Using anelectric mixer on medium speed, beatuntil smooth, about 2 to 3 minutes. Dollopspoonfuls of the cream cheese mixtureon top of brownie batter in the pan.Drop smaller spoonfuls of the meltedstrawberry pomegranate spread on topof the cream cheese dollops and use thetip of a knife to gently swirl cream cheeseand jam, making a marble pattern. Becareful not to overmix into the browniebatter.
5. Bake at 400??F for 30 to 35 minutes, oruntil edges are slightly puffed and center isjust set. A toothpick inserted in the centershould come out clean.
6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Cut into 16pieces, and serve. If desired, for an elegantpresentation, place brownie on a plate, drizzlewith a spoonful of warmed InspirationsDecadent Chocolate Topping and garnishwith strawberries.
