Chocolate Bread Pudding with Raspberries
7 slice Hannaford Inspirations Chocolate Bread, cubed
4 tablespoon Salted butter
13/4 cup Milk, 1%, with added vit A and D
1 cup Sugar
4 each Large whole eggs, raw
1 pt Fresh raspberries
1/2 cup Hannaford Inspirations Raspberry topping
1/2 cup Whipped cream topping

directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Melt butter an coat a 8 x 8 x 2-inch glass baking dish or casserole. Place 1-inch cubed bread in dish and drizzle with butter. Toss to coat.
3. In a small saucepan heat milk and cream to a simmer. Remove from heat.
4. Whisk egg yolks (discard the white) and sugar together in a large bowl. Slowly whisk in cream mixture. Pour custard over bread. Cover and let stand 1 hour to absorb.
5. Meanwhile combine raspberries and Raspberry Topping in small bowl and set aside.
6. Bake pudding until just set in center about 45 minutes.
7. Serve warm with Raspberry Topping and whipped cream (or ice cream). (Ice cream not included in nutritional analysis)
