1 14 to 19 oz can black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
1 14 to 19 oz can chickpeas drained and rinsed
1 14 to 19 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup Chopped onion
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 each Garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon chili pepper flakes

directions:

1. In a bowl, combine black-eyed peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, onion, oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, black pepper, salt, coriander, and hot pepper flakes.
2. Let stand for 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop prior to serving.
