2 (15.5 oz.) cans each white cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 (32 oz.) pkg Nature's Place Organic Low sodium chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
2 tablespoons Inspirations Garlic Dipping oil
2 (12 oz.) pkg steam-in-the-bag frozen broccoli florets
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Tabasco, or to taste
0 drops low-fat sour cream (optional garnish)
0 sprigs of parsley (optional garnish)

directions:

1. In a large pot, combine beans and broth. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and puree using a blender, food processor, or immersionblender. Add pepper, salt, and oil and puree until smooth.
2. Prepare broccoli in microwave according to package instructions, microwaving each bag separately. Add cooked broccoli to bean and broth mixture. Puree again until soup is completely smooth. Add hot sauce. Heat puree in pan until just barely simmering. Serve hot, garnished with low-fat sour cream and parsley sprigs, if desired.
