Granola

Ingredients

2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup puffed wheat cereal
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup honey
1 egg white
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
pinch of salt
Granola

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine oats, puffed wheat, and wheat germ.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, egg white, vanilla, brown sugar, and salt. Pour honey blend over dry ingredients and gently stir to coat. Spread mixture on prepared baking sheet. Bake until golden and crispy, about 30 minutes; stir mixture at 10-minute intervals. Watch carefully toward the end to make sure not to overcook.
4. Cool on pan completely, about 1 hour. Store in airtight container at room temperature, or freeze.
