Brown Butter-Sage Popcorn

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
2 sage leaves
8 cups popped popcorn (about 1/3 cup kernels or 1 standard microwave bag)
Grated Pecorino Romano cheese, for garnish
Brown Butter-Sage Popcorn

Directions

1. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add sage leaves and cook, stirring, until butter is lightly browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer sage to a paper towel and crumble.
2. Toss butter with popcorn and top with grated Pecorino Romano and crumbled sage leaves.
