20 Minute Applesauce Cookies

Ingredients

Ripe bananas and applesauce bring sweetness and moisture to these star-worthy cookies that are so delicious your kids will gobble them up!Tip: If you don't have apple pie spice mix on hand, use a mix of 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp. allspice.
3 ripe bananas
2 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. ground flax
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice mix
1/2 cup dried cherries

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Using a fork, mash the bananas in a bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
3. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake for until springy to the touch (18-20 minutes).
