Foil-Baked Salmon with Garlic and Butter

Ingredients

3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
4 (4- to 6-oz.) salmon fillets
Salt and pepper
Minced fresh chives, for serving

Directions

1. Center a rack in oven and heat to 400 degrees.
2. In a small saucepan, heat butter, garlic, and soy sauce over medium until butter is melted and garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds.
3. Season salmon fillets all over with salt and pepper, then place each on a 6" piece of foil. Divide butter mixture over top of salmon, then fold sides of foil up to form packets and seal edges. Place packets on a baking sheet and bake until salmon flakes easily with a fork, 12 to 15 minutes.
4. Sprinkle with minced fresh chives before serving.
