Ingredients

We've turned an Italian delicacy into a fun dessert dip that kids and grown-ups alike will love. Besides sugar cones, try fresh fruits like strawberries and bananas as dippers.
1 (15 oz.) container part-skim ricotta cheese
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
12 sugar ice cream cones
Cannoli Dip

Directions

With a hand mixer or stand mixer, in a large bowl, beat the ricotta, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
With a hand mixer or stand mixer, in a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add the confectioners' sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the ricotta mixture, followed by the chocolate chips, reserving 2 tbsp chips for garnish. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle reserved chips on top.
Break the ice cream cones into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Serve with ricotta mixture.
