Southwestern Cheese Popcorn

Ingredients

30 cup Popcorn, freshly popped, low-fat, (appx 3 packets)
1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
2 (1.5-oz.) pkgs. macaroni and cheese mix cheese powder (approx. 2/3 cup)
1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon Ground cumin
2 teaspoon Chili powder
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
Southwestern Cheese Popcorn

Directions

1. Place half the popcorn in a large brown paper grocery bag. Drizzle on half the butter. Close bag and shake to distribute butter. Add remaining popcorn and remaining butter. Close bag again and shake thoroughly to coat popcorn with butter.
2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together cheese powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper until blended.
3. Sprinkle cheese mixture over popcorn. Close bag and shake vigorously to distribute mixture evenly and coat popcorn thoroughly. Pour into a large bowl and serve immediately.
