Glazed Wild Alaskan Salmon

Get Ready

Servings: Serves 4

Prep Time: 16 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients: Add ingredients to List

1 teaspoon canola oil
1 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
1 each small Jalapeno pepper, seeded, minced
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 1/2 lb Wild Alaskan salmon fillet
1/2 each lime, cut into quarters (optional garnish)

directions:

1. Preheat oven to 475degreesF. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with vegetablecooking spray.
2. In a small nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic, jalape?o, salt, and chipotle. Cook and stir until jalape?o begins to soften, about 2 minutes. Add lime juice and honey. Mix until evenly blended. Remove from heat and stir in cilantro.
3. Place salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet. Pierce with a fork severaltimes. Brush glaze over salmon. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until just cooked through; the ends and sides of the salmon should flake easily.
4. To serve, divide the salmon into 4 portions. Garnish with lime quarters, ifusing. Serve warm.
