Dinty Moore Beef Stew is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst ever Fake meat is really bad, I made it for the first time for my wife and I and it was horrible. The meat tasted like soy and crumbled. Defiantly not stew meat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add some crackers for perfection I really don't understand all of these low reviews. The meat in this tastes fine to me and with crackers, this is a filling and satisfying meal for me and it has been for years. I tend to switch between this and Armour Beef Stew and both are great in their own way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ground Beef Stew Although I'm disappointed that the chunks of roast beef I remember in my Dinty Moore is gone, I've resigned myself to eating chunks of ground beef (meatballs?) in their place. Not an improvement by any means. But an acceptable substitute if necessary to keep the price competitive. The carrots and potatoes are still terrific, and the umami provided by the mushroom extract really makes the difference. Many companies work on improving their product. Hormel works on improving their bottom line. Telling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Please come back with DM Classic Beef Stew I basically lived on Dinty Moore Beef Stew after high school, through college and as a single adult. Now my son is ten and while we were bacholering it last weekend, l thought I would introduce him to my old staple. While it was decent, it wasn’t nearly as good as it was. The biggest bad change is the lack of those big chunks of meat I remember and 2ndly, the broth seems thinner. I’d pay more for it if you’d bring back the Dinty Moore I remember. Just calll it “Classic”.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Something not right! Supermarket had a promotion so I bought 2 20 Beef Stew Tins. I have eaten Dinty Moore for ever, I'm 70. There wasn't a single chunk of beef anywhere to be seen in this can! The stew appears to have been made with ground beef. Tasted fine but like the little old lady said in a old classic commercial, " Where's the beef?". I will do a contact ti let them know what I found.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy & Good The stews are okay, tho they could do with less juice and more of the carrots, potatoes and meat. Otherwise the few versions I've tried are pretty good and handy for a single, live alone person.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where;s the Beef I bought a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew and there were no chunks of meat. There were some little pieces of ground up meat. If you changed this it is not good. Did not taste the same. Put the beef chunks back in the stew. Low quality. We just want to know "Where's the beef in Dinty Moore's BEEF Stew.
