Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jam. I made a batch of raspberry jam and one of blueberry jam this week. They both turned out perfect and I like the fact that I can use less sugar - more berry flavor and less sweet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from two batches failed to set I processed two double batches of cooked raspberry jelly following the package instructions which were there. I save one incase they're missing. I cooked both batches and boiled both. I also added a little acid aka cider vinegar. the first time I made jelly and didn't add vinegar the batch didn't set. The instructions reference lemon juice in the instructions but nowhere is lemon juice found in any of the recipies, I will reprocess both batches with a new box of sure jell low sugar and it should work. I may try ball fruit pectin next time,. hey Kraft what is the secret to using this product? Alton Brown says always to add an acid to promote fruit set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Set & State Fair Submission Favorite I can't talk highly enough about how wonderful this product is. I've never had a batch not set (even when lowering the sugar!) It's easy to use, typically comes with instructions (I've had two boxes out of probably 50 that I've used not have instructions) but wasn't a problem when they didn't because I keep a page on hand with my recipes for custom batches. Submissions to the state fair have been widely well received and each year produces multiple placings. You never even know there's less sugar. The only downside is the price. I would love to see this product be more affordable. I search year round for great deals and occasionally find one and buy up everything they'll let me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How to use sugar substitute I bought the pink box of sure jell to try and make jelly for people with diabetes. Does anyone know if you a one to one ratio of sugar substitue in recipes. I am using stivia in place of sugar. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really love this product I learned about thus product last year and really love it. The jams I've made taste more like the fresh fruit and use less sugar also. I do have a question: I now have 3 pkgs where the envelopes were open and the powder was leaking into the box. I am trying to fins how many TBSP are in one envelope so I can measure it. I tried calling this afternoon and the answering machine said that the office was closed. Coukd you answer it please? I have made strawberry basil, strawberry cranberry jam, strawberry cherry jam, triple berry jam, apricot pineapple jam, and still have red wine jelly, red pepper jelly, plum jam, and a variety of fig Hans left to make. Last year I also made sweet cherry almond jam and raspberry peach jam. I would highly recommend this product. I learned about it in the Cooks Illustrated book. THank you, Carol Jackson

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Give this a TRY! America's test Kitchen - FoolProof Preserving 2016 is a MUST read. Found it at Cost Co Their fav pectin to yield consistent results. I tried it this past weekend and loved it. Used less sugar and still got a great set. I am not a fan of overly sweet jams that only taste like sugar. Lovely fruit flavor.
