SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Hannaford Supermarkets is celebrating summer by bringing back its popular fresh, fully-prepared lobster roll at an incredible value of just $9.99.
Available in the deli department, the Hannaford lobster roll is freshly prepared in-store each day and features North Atlantic lobster tossed with mayonnaise and breadcrumbs and placed on a bed of green leaf lettuce in a Taste of Inspirations brioche hot dog bun.
The fresh lobster roll is available in the deli department at all 189 Hannaford stores through Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
In celebration of the return of the seasonal favorite, $1 from every roll sold will support free summer meal programs for children experiencing food insecurity in Hannaford’s communities.
“We’re thrilled to once again offer our customers the chance to enjoy a classic New England favorite at a great price, while also creating more good in our communities,” said Chef Dorene Mills of Hannaford Supermarkets. “Our delicious lobster rolls are an easy grab-and-go option for that backyard party, trip to the beach or picnic, saving you time for more summer fun.”
Hannaford first launched its popular fresh, fully-prepared lobster rolls in 2024 and gained nationwide attention for their quality and value.
The lobster roll complements Hannaford’s wide selection of fresh and convenient grab-and-go offerings, including freshly-made sandwiches and salads; ready-to-heat entrees; chef-crafted sushi; hot wings and appetizers; hot entrees; and hot in-store prepared pizza.
Additionally, Hannaford makes summer celebrations simple with a variety of platter solutions ranging from sandwiches and salads, snacking and appetizers, and desserts including custom cakes and dessert platters, available for special order with convenient in-store pickup. Orders can be placed by phone or online at least one day in advance. My Hannaford Rewards members receive two percent rewards on all customer orders.
