Hannaford to build store in Mechanic Falls
Mechanic Falls, Maine – Hannaford Supermarkets today announced plans to build a 20,000-square-foot store at the northeast corner of the intersection of Routes 11 and 26 in Mechanic Falls. The full-service supermarket and pharmacy is expected to open for business in late 2018.
The Mechanic Falls Hannaford Supermarket & Pharmacy will offer the fresh produce, meat, seafood and bakery items for which Hannaford is known, as well as a wide variety of groceries, dry goods and health & beauty products. Customers will have access to professional pharmacists and the prescription medication they need.
"Customers in the Mechanic Falls area will find great products at low everyday prices, convenient shopping and exceptional service at their new supermarket," said Eric Blom, Hannaford spokesman. "Hannaford is excited that we will be joining the Mechanic Falls community."
