SCARBOROUGH, MAINE – The Hannaford Supermarkets store in Lincoln has issued a single-store recall for certain varieties of ground beef because the products may contain flakes of metal from a damaged meat grinder.
Impacted products were sold in Lincoln on June 23 between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. They are:
GROUND BEEF - 85% LEAN – SMALL UPC 22312600000
GROUND BEEF - 85% LEAN - FAMILY PACK UPC 22312700000
GROUND BEEF - 81% LEAN UPC 21204300000
GROUND BEEF - 81% LEAN UPC 21204100000
GROUND BEEF - 73% LEAN UPC 22181700000
GROUND BEEF - 73% LEAN UPC 22181800000
No injuries or illnesses have been reported. Customers should not eat the product and may return it to the store for a full refund.
