North Windham, Maine – Out of an abundance of caution, the Hannaford store at 797 Roosevelt Trail in North Windham is recalling packages of Hannaford brand 80% ground beef purchased at the store after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20 with a sell-by date of August 24 because the item(s) may contain foreign material. Customers should check their storage and freezer areas for this product and not eat the product. Product or its packaging may be returned to the store for a full refund.

 

This is a single-store advisory and applies to the North Windham store only. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
