1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 5 ingredients in 2 quart casserole dish.
2. Heat medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and bacon and cook, stirring frequently, until bacon is browned and onions are tender.
3. Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon fat from pan and add onion mixture to the casserole with beans.
4. Mix all ingredients together, adding 1/2 cup water.
5. Bake 20 minutes and serve.
