1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. Place pound cake slices on the grill, heat 2-4 minutes per side, until lightly toasted.
3. Place 2 slices of pound cake on each serving plate.
3. Top each serving with one scoop ice cream and 1/4 cup double chocolate flavor sundae syrup.
4. Sprinkle with almonds and serve at once.
