Party-Hearty Pizza
1 (10 oz.) prebaked thin whole wheat pizza crust, such as Boboli
2 links Nature's Place trademark Spinach and Garlic Chicken sausage, thinly sliced
1 each cubanelle pepper (also called an Italian frying pepper), thinly sliced
1/2 cup jarred roasted red peppers, patted dry and thinly sliced
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup Taste of Inspirations trademark Tomato and Basil Marinara Pasta sauce
3/4 cup grated low-sodium mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tablespoons finely chopped italian parsley

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Set crust on a baking sheet.
2. Spray a medium nonstick skillet with vegetable cooking sprayand heat over medium heat. When hot, add sausage slices. Cook and stir until just beginning to brown, about 5 minutes. Add the cubanelle pepper, red pepper, and black pepper. Cook and stir until the cubanelle just begins to soften, about 5 minutes.
3. Spread the sauce in an even layer on the crust. Sprinkle mozzarellacheese evenly over the sauce.
4. Make an even layer of the sausage and pepper mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley over the top. Bake until golden and bubbly, about 10 to 12 minutes. Cut into slices and serve immediately. May be frozen.
