1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and saute onions and garlic until tender (5-8 minutes).
3. Stir in tomatoes, olives, and basil. Simmer until thickened (10-12 minutes).
4. Place cod fillets in a non-stick baking dish and top with sauce. Cover and bake until fish flakes easily (10-12 minutes). Serve hot.
