Prepare the dogs:
1. In a frying pan (preferably cast iron) over medium heat, add enough oil to barely coat the bottom of the pan. Add the dogs and gently saute until the color pigment intensifies and barely browns.
Prepare the rolls:
1. Heat a cast iron or heavy pan over low to medium heat.
2. Butter the sides of each roll.
3. Griddle until golden brown.
1. Add a schmear of mustard.
2. Top with deli slaw and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.
