1. Preheat broiler.
2. Cut off ends of baguette and discard. Cut rest of baguette into 18 slices, each about 1/2 to > inch thick.
3. Place oil in a small bowl and use a pastry brush to lightly brush oil on each piece of bread, or spread oil onto bread using a <-tsp. measuring spoon. Place bread, oil side up, on a baking sheet and broil about 1 to 2 minutes, or until just golden brown. Gently flip bread over and brush other side with remaining oil. Broil another 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until just golden brown. Remove from oven.
4. While toast is still warm, spread a generous 1 tsp. goat cheese on one side. Top with scant 1 tsp. chutney and serve.
