1. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onion, mushrooms, carrots, garlic, and red pepper flakes and cook 8 to 10 minutes.
2. Add turkey and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until meat is lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
3. Add crushed tomatoes, bring to a simmer, and cook until sauce is thickened and turkey is cooked through, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
