1. Process beans, garlic, oil, tahini, lemon zest and juice, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a food processor until smooth, about 1 minute, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste and transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container.
2. Sprinkle hummus with pistachios, herbs, and remaining 1/2 teaspoon curry powder before serving.
