2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
8 (1/2"-thick) slices brioche bread
1/4 cup Taste of Inspirations Bacon Jam
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices Hannaford Fully Cooked Bacon
1 large tomato, cut into 8 slices
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Classic Grilled Cheese with a Twist

Classic Grilled Cheese with a Twist

  • Cook Time:15 minutes
1. Spread butter all over one side of each bread slice. Flip 4 slices over and spread evenly with jam, then layer each with 1/4 cup cheddar, 2 slices bacon, 2 slices tomato, and 1/4 cup Monterey Jack. Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered-sides up.
2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and place two sandwiches in pan. Cook, flipping halfway through, until cheese is completely melted and bread is golden brown on each side, 2 to 4 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining sandwiches and serve.
